Walgreens film developing fail

I am shooting with vintage plastic cameras and outdated film. So, what? Usually I send my film off to Dwayne's or get it developed at Kadair's in Baton Rouge. Procrastination set in and I decided to get my film developed here in Walker.... at Walgreens. I should have backed out of the deal when I dropped off my film. I asked if I could send the film out or if the processing would be done in house. The girl behind the counter said, "it's all the same. We charge the same price for film that is sent out as we charge for the one hour processing." I asked how much the one hour processing is. Walgreens charges $10 per roll for one hour processing. So, after I dropped off my film I returned back to Walgreens for my film after an hour like a good little monkey. Despite the fact that only 6 pictures came out, I paid $20 for the two rolls of 36mm film that I dropped off.

I scanned the film. Here are the decent shots. The girl at Walgreens said, "It looks like curtains or something." I would say that the film is wavy from being on a roll for many years because it is old (outdated) film. Without further ado:

Photos taken with an Akira 2000 and expired Kodak black & white 400 film. At least I did not pay for CDs on top of the one hour processing. I am able to scan the negatives myself.
