I graduated high school in 1993. I enlisted in the Army National Guard the same year I graduated high school. I also served active duty in the Army. I graduated Southeastern Louisiana University with a BA in Sociology and I work for the State Of Louisiana Division of Administration.
My Family:
My sister, Faith, has two children, Ronnie & Hayley. Our mother died at age 47 in 2002, and our father died at age 43 in 1998. I miss both of them dearly. I was very close to my Dad's mom. She died on June 1, 2004.

Pets are Part of the Family:
I have a golden retriever mix named Mr Smiles, and 2 cockatiels, Scootie and Birdyboo. On December 4, 2003, I lost a dear, dear friend and companion, my fourteen year old dog named Puddles who I loved very much.
My Faith:
Many people practice religion by going to church on Sundays. For me, spirituality is more important that religion. I am spiritual and work to develop spiritually.
My Hobbies:
I like photography, both in digital and film. I am fascinated with simple, plastic toy cameras. Here's a link to my flickr account where you can see my photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/terceslil/.
I enjoy completing a run. I can't really say that I enjoy running, but I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment that I get when I complete a run.

I like to read and write poetry, and I like attending poetry slams. I enjoy web design and troubleshooting computers. I like tinkering with my Dad's old bike and I like taking long rides in the country on the bike when I can.

The Army provided me the opportunity to travel so I have been to several countries including Panama, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Czechoslovakia. Of all of these, my favorite is the beautiful country of Germany. I enjoy cruise vacations and have visited Cancun, Cozumel, Bahamas, and Alaska.
My Site:
Sometimes I use my web site as a journal. I don't take offense if you think my poems seem like rough drafts, or if your opinions differ from mine. Sometimes I write as the thoughts jog through my mind... and some of the poetry is really old.
